　　這張CD製作精良、錄製專業，完整了展示了威廉姆斯的作品。問題在於這部配樂從頭至尾無精打采，即使賣力的演奏也無法克服這個根本性問題。儘管有着上一部《侏羅紀公園》的主題曲元素和相當熱情的管弦樂演奏，但卻沒有扣人心弦的特色。這應該部分歸咎於電影本身離其系列的第一部相去甚遠，讓作曲家也無處着墨。69分鐘的音樂，只有很少一部分能給人留下印象。專輯的包裝倒是獨具匠心，但可惜音樂無法達到足夠好的質量。
